Gold ball.
Every year there is classical latvian music ball in Madona. Starting with last year they have made it ball with name "Zelta Šlāgeris".Well, yesterday, 28 of july second time lot of people went to listen tipical latvian country music.
Why i love this event?
In my opinion, this event is one of the things which is bringing all femilies, friends and even strangers together. You just can feel unity all around the bandstand. I don't know why, but i am one of the person who actually don't like latvian music, but one time in a year - at this ball i am always singing along and really experiencing all emotions and good vibratory.
This year i had that chance, just to sit not to dance and it was really, i just can not put it in the words. I was so happy to see, that grandma's and grandfather's are jumping all around like young children together with their actual children and children's children. Coming together, that should be the actual name of this event.

p.s.s And i didn't know that song "Kaija" is like unofficial Madonas hymn. But it is.
